here's those corner doors again. we painted the pantry door to match the walls. but i apparently lost two washers and now the door won't stay shut. ooops. 

note the lovely trim. 

close up, and our new plug cover plates. now we just need to replace the plugs. 

looking green. notice the coral is gone. replaced with 'dried fava'.  

here we go. hard to tell, it is a very light green. but it's so much better than plan off white

here's a bit of paint 

almost ready to paint. 

this is our old microwave that came with the house. we bought a new one and are going to install it where the vent was. it's white and a GE spacesaver. However, if you noticed the huge gash in the drywall behind the vent. this is the source of our problems. two wall anchors are supposed to go into what is now empty space. some nice man just busted it all up when he installed the vent. how nice. john's got a plan though.
